Com o anúncio do fechamento da agência do Banco do Brasil, os correntistas e moradores da Vila Itoupava, em Blumenau, terão que procurar outra praça para utilizar os serviços do banco. Isso afetará diretamente o comércio local, visto que, ao se deslocarem para outras regiões em busca de atendimento bancário, os consumidores acabam também realizando suas compras fora do bairro.
Além da perda de clientes, e consequentemente de recursos, o comerciante que precisar de serviços bancários terá ainda de se deslocar para outras localidades para movimentar a conta, sacar, depositar ou mesmo buscar um investimento. Em todos os casos, quem perde é a comunidade.
O Sindicato dos Bancários de Blumenau e Região segue com o abaixo-assinado junto à população local e luta para que a agência não feche as portas. “O engajamento da sociedade, junto com a intendência da Vila Itoupava são fundamentais e necessários para pressionar o Banco do Brasil a manter a agência funcionando e atendendo a população. Assim, ganha o comércio e a comunidade da Vila”, avalia Edson Luiz Heemann, presidente do sindicato.
Na próxima semana serão ampliados os locais com o abaixo-assinado na Vila.
